As before, this is a paid internship open to women and non-binary people aged 18-25 and living in Kirklees, that offers a valuable first step into the world of production. The placement is for 16 days in total, worked flexibly between November this year and January 2020 and comes with a £2,000 bursary (including travel expenses).
The successful applicant will gain hands-on experience in assisting with the operation and administration of a busy recording studio, shadowing sound engineers as they record and mix bands, helping with studio maintenance and learning about production from members of staff. Although previous knowledge of ProTools is a bonus, you don’t need a music technology qualification or studio experience to apply – instead, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who is willing to learn all they can.
