Volume Up! advocacy tools

Support from Rosa UK helped YSWN research and produce our own industry-facing advocacy tools highlighting gender disparity in audio. We surveyed music studios in Yorkshire and produced an infographics document and video on gender inequality in the sound and music sector, including recommendations and calls to action.

The tools were launched at YSWN’s CIC celebration gig at DINA, Sheffield, in September 2018 and have since been widely distributed to industry stakeholders and at key events, helping to attract further support for YSWN’s mission within the industry.
