BIG NEWS: We have a crowdfunder!

We’re launching Rewired, a callout for Yorkshire-based women and gender-diverse musicians and sound artists to create and share new electronic work in early 2026.

At the moment we’re offering one £1,500 commission and three £750 microcommissions… but we know times are tough for artists and we want to do more.

So we’re crowdfunding, and asking for your support to make Rewired bigger and better.

We’re aiming to raise £2,000 by 5 January, which will fund another commission fee, plus vital artist support during the creative process. And if we raise more, it’ll go back into offering a higher number of commissions, all of which will be showcased at a special event next spring.

We have some fantastic rewards on offer to suit whatever you’re able to give, from a shout-out and heartfelt thank-you on this website, to tote bags, mugs and T-shirts, all the way up to a headline sponsorship opportunity.

The best part is that this gave us the excuse we’d been waiting for to ask our multi-talented co-founder Eddie Dobson to create a lovely hand-drawn illustration (above) celebrating the YSWN community, which for now will be exclusive to our rewards.
