Changing Gear commissions: apply now!

As part of our Changing Gear programme, we’re looking for three emerging women or minority gender music creators based in Yorkshire and the Humber to compose and perform new electronic pieces inspired by the ideas and legacy of pioneering composer Daphne Oram and to celebrate the 100th anniversary of her birth.

Each selected creator will receive a fee of £1,400, mentoring from past Oram Awards winners and the chance to develop their artistic voice by experimenting with analogue music kit.
