As part of the continuation and development of our WIRED project, we’re recruiting an experienced freelance researcher to support advocacy and workforce development activities around gender inclusion and young people’s music technology education.
We’re looking for someone who can design and carry out a research project to gain greater insight into the experiences of participants and/or educators in the field, and then use the findings to write a toolkit of recommendations and practical strategies for creating gender inclusive learning environments in music, as well as co-authoring a book chapter on the topic with YSWN co-director Dr Eddie Dobson.
The contract is for 20 days between December 2022 and September 2023 with a fee of £300/day (total fee £6,000).
